IBADAN ZOO

The University of Ibadan Zoo, like most modern zoos, displays wild animals primarily for the conservation of endangered species, as well as for research purposes and education, and so also for the entertainment of visitors.
 

NATIONAL MUSEUM

The Ibadan National Museum of Unity is an ethnographic museum in Ibadan, Nigeria. The museum is dedicated to the culture of the different ethnic groups of Nigeria.

BOWER'S TOWER

Bower’s Tower can be seen at the top of Oke-Are in Ibadan. It is an historic monument put up to honour Captain Robert Lister Bower in 1936

Agodi Gardens located in the heart of Ibadan, at the foot of Old Mokola Hill is Agodi Gardens which stands out in the city of brown roofs.

The IITA Forest Reserve

The IITA Forest Reserve is the largest forest fragment of the IITA Forest Centre.  It is the best protected and only urban forest in the southwestern region. The forest reserve includes natural landscaping features such as wetlands, farmlands, gardens, lakes, and ponds, which altogether provide habitat for different species of plants and animals that have faced decline due to constant development of the surrounding city.
